The Ocean
"The Ocean has its silent caves, deep, quiet, and alone;
Though there be fury on the waves, beneath them there is none."
Persuading others to see my design vision is like standing before an unpredictable sea. At times, the tides rise restless, waves of doubt and resistance crashing against me.
Yet, I strive to be like the ocean itself—deep and unwavering, embracing each storm without losing the quiet strength beneath the surface.
Architecture
Whenever I kick off a new project and begin designing user flows and information architecture, I can’t help but think of a stunning architectural masterpiece. Much like architects who meticulously envision how light, shadow, and foot traffic interact within a space, I—as a UX designer—factor in cutting-edge device features, user demographics, and internet speeds when crafting each screen.
I also love traveling to different cities to experience the iconic buildings that define them. On a recent trip to Tokyo, I had the privilege of seeing works by Thomas Heatherwick and Tadao Ando, and it was truly inspiring.
Edward Hooper
In Edward Hopper’s paintings, I see more than just scenes of everyday life—I feel the quiet solitude of city dwellers at the end of a long day, contrasted with the quiet satisfaction of a day well spent. His masterful use of light and shadow creates a stark divide between isolation and warmth, making his work deeply resonant.
Hopper’s compositions, with their calculated use of space and perspective, build layers of meaning. In a similar way, I feel that my own design world is gradually layering itself—each experience adding depth and resilience. Just as his paintings capture a moment of stillness in a fast-moving world, I aim to craft digital experiences that balance complexity with simplicity, solitude with connection.
Philosophy
As an industrial design graduate, my goal is to create outcomes that satisfy business, marketing, and design. My strength lies in my ability to understand users' needs and translate ideas into tangible wireframes.
Project
I have dedicated my career to crafting user-centric digital experiences for globally recognized companies such as LG Electronics, Kia Motors, and Hankook Tire. I have also participated in the development of global platforms, mobile web projects, app development, and AI chatbot initiatives.
Career
I gained fascinating experience by being among the first to master emerging IT technologies—from responsive web design and biometric authentication to deep learning and AI—and applying them to services.
